Pieces of Sushi
Last night my husband & I took a sushi class through UMKC's Communiversity. We had so much fun!
Even though we've had tons of sushi before, we got to try some new ingredients i've never heard of, or thought to put in a sushi roll. The teacher showed us all the springtime flowers that are edible-- like redbud flowers-- and put some in the rolls.
I tried real wasabi for the first time last night. I know now that all the restaurants I've been too haven't been serving real wasabi, because it wasn't near as powerful as what I had last night-- and it was good!
I had such a good time last night that i want to have a sushi party this weekend!
