Last night my husband & I took a sushi class through UMKC's Communiversity. We had so much fun!
Even though we've had tons of sushi before, we got to try some new ingredients i've never heard of, or thought to put in a sushi roll. The teacher showed us all the springtime flowers that are edible-- like redbud flowers-- and put some in the rolls.
I tried real wasabi for the first time last night. I know now that all the restaurants I've been too haven't been serving real wasabi, because it wasn't near as powerful as what I had last night-- and it was good!
I had such a good time last night that i want to have a sushi party this weekend!

i just added this one. i want to take a class or two for fun. i've been looking at the "Communiversity" catalog that just came in the campus mail today and they have some interesting classes. I took ballroom dancing in college, but i've forgotten alot of the steps- so i wouldn't mind taking another dance class, even just to goof off. Then under Fitness I found Dodgeball. Someone has put together an adults-only dodgeball class. how cool is that?! I'm going to attempt to round up my lazy/shy friends and get them to participate. Nothing say "i like you" more than hitting your friends in the face with red rubber balls.

besides taking classes, i want to travel. i've been wanting to do that since i started college (and i graduated 4 years ago).
i would like open my own photography studio.
i want my own darkroom in the basement, just for fun.
i'd love to live somewhere with acreage so we can have more animals.
